TROAS. Alexandria Troas. Pseudo-autonomous issue. 'As' (Bronze, 21 mm, 5.47 g, 6 h), early to mid 3rd century. COL TROA Turreted and draped bust of the city-goddess to right, with vexillum inscribed CO / AV behind. Rev. COL AV - TRO Horse grazing right. Bellinger A486. SNG von Aulock 1466 var. (differing obverse legend). A sharp and attractive piece with a lovely brown patina. Good extremely fine.
